Peter is an experienced litigation and arbitration lawyer. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an enthusiastic supporter of alternative dispute resolution processes.
Peter has been involved in a very wide range of domestic and international contentious work. His practice has included a significant intellectual property bias with many cases involving applications for urgent injunctive relief. Peter’s arbitration experience has seen him acting in several major governmental arbitrations and he has been involved in mediations for some 25 years.
Peter joined Marriott Harrison LLP in 1987 and became a partner in 1989. He retired as a partner in 2015. Prior to joining, Peter worked for Bristows Cooke & Carpmael and at Freshfields where he qualified in 1979.
