Eesheta Shah

I am an IP & IT lawyer, with over 20 years’ experience.  I specialise in all aspects of intellectual property law, data protection and privacy, and information technology law, and I work with a range of companies from large brand owners to SMEs and start-ups across a wide range of industries.  I have worked extensively with companies in the technology, e-commerce, leisure and retail sectors.

My work covers creating and implementing IP and brand protection strategies for businesses, advising them on the exploitation of their IP, filing and prosecuting UK and International trade marks, and helping companies to enforce their IP rights.  I also advise businesses in connection with the exploitation of their IP. This includes drafting and negotiating complex IP and IT-related commercial agreements (such as patent and know-how licences, master service agreements, software licences and software development agreements).

I enjoy working closely with clients, getting to know their business, understanding their short-term needs and future plans, all of which is vital to providing effective IP and commercial advice.
