London-based Cogna announces its recent raise, to transform how traditional industries solve unique and troublesome problems.

Cogna provides an AI-powered SaaS platform which creates customisable software applications, allowing data to be integrated across various areas of businesses in a simplified way so that teams can analyse and optimise data gathered. Founded in 2023 by Ben Peters, part of the team that founded autonomous car company FiveAI acquired by Bosch, and Lars Mennen, the team are planning to use the recent round of funding to expand their team allowing them to build on their product offering.

The round of funding was led by Hoxton Ventures with participation from Notion Capital and Octopus First Cheque Fund, as well as a collection of angel investors including Stan Boland, Hermann Hauser, Neil Lawrence, Zayd Enam, Tim Shi, Ping Wu, Aviv Nevo and Nick Elliott.

Ben Peters, Founder of Cogna commented on the deal, “The team at MH have advised us since incorporation and were an ideal partner to help us close this fundraising. We have benefitted from their strategic advice combined with responsiveness and deep experience of the issues that startups face.”

David Strong and Iona Jones were pleased to advise Cogna, furthering our credentials in the AI sector.
