Beringea leads Series A for EVIOS and renews partnership with David Martell

Wednesday 28th February, 2024

Marriott Harrison was pleased to act for Beringea on its Series A investment into EVIOS, providing the UK’s EV owners with a seamless charging experience at home.

This recent investment round marks the renewal of the partnership between Founder and CEO of EVIOS, David Martell, and Beringea after previously collaborating on scaling Chargemaster, a provider of an EV charging infrastructure which was subsequently acquired by BP in 2018.

EVIOS was launched in 2022, and has since grown from strength to strength. Towards the end of 2022, EVIOS acquired Andersen EV, the UK’s leading provider of home charging points. The acquisition has bolstered the sales by a 104% increase, solidifying its position as a key provider for premium automotive brands including Porsche and Jaguar Land Rover. With the government imposing a target for manufacturers for 80% of new cars sold to be electric by 2030, EVIOS will use the funding round to enhance its product offering to help companies meet this goal.

David Strong and Ben Cole were pleased to advise longstanding client and transatlantic venture capital firm Beringea on its investment, furthering our credentials in the EV charging sector.
