The Marriott Harrison team was pleased to support Balderton Capital on their seed investment into Grasp, the online learning platform founded by former Revolut employees. The round also saw participation from Point Nine, Moonfire and Mozilla.
Grasp was founded by former Revolut employees Ed Matthews and Jacob Sidorov with the aim of increasing the rate at which humans learn by building tools for a comprehensive digital education, initially focussing on programming.
Daniel Waterhouse, partner at Balderton Capital commented, “We are excited to be working with Ed again on his highly ambitious plan to transform self-learning in a world where skill set requirements are constantly changing and people are hungry to learn and adapt.”
The funding will be used to hire talent in product, data science and engineering as well as enhancing their current platform offering.
