MH was delighted to act for long-standing client Audiotonix on its recent acquisition of sonible, one of the world’s leading developers of assistive AI-based processing solutions for professional audio.

Through this acquisition, Audiotonix will enable sonible to expand its current market solutions and will look to harness its technology across its other Audiotonix brands.

Based in Austria, sonible’s assistive mixing plug-ins have provided a new generation of intelligent processing production tools for engineers and audio creatives with uniquely intuitive usability and workflow-enhancing features at their core.

sonible will join the increasing Audiotonix brand portfolio of leading audio technology and solutions companies that include Allen & Heath, DiGiCo, DiGiGrid, Group One Limited, Harrison, KLANG: technologies, Slate Digital, Solid State Logic, and Sound Devices.

James Gordon, CEO of Audiotonix commented “along with investing in sonible’s growth and helping the team expand its current market solutions, we will also look to harness its technology across our other Audiotonix brands. The potential to utilise sonible’s intelligence in our other brands will be a ground-breaking proposition for all our customers. It was great to work once again with Jonathan and the Marriott Harrison team on another acquisition – the team played an immensely valuable role in making this transaction, which has strengthened the group’s offering, happen efficiently.”

Jonathan Leigh-Hunt led the MH multidisciplinary team which included Yasmin Barber and James Fleming (Corporate), Sofia Gottgens (Employment) and Alex Lee and Elisabetta Bestetti (Commercial).  The team was assisted in Austria by Schoenherr.
