Transatlantic venture capital firm Beringea led a Series A funding round into seltzer company DASH Water. Beringea’s investment will help DASH Water’s growth and expansion plans, including increasing production and distribution and investing in research and development. Marriott Harrison advised Beringea on its investment.
DASH Water is a zero-sugar, zero-calorie seltzer company known for infusing wonky fruit in its drinks. DASH Water is the market leader in the UK seltzer industry with a 39% share, and its cans can be found in over 10,000 stores. The company plans to broaden its reach by entering new markets in Europe while also strengthening its foothold in Australia, where it has seen a rise in market share.
Beringea is a transatlantic venture capital firm which invests in scaling companies. Focusing on Series A and Series B rounds, Beringea adds value through strategic connections, transatlantic growth, and the Beringea Scale-Up Academy. Luke Edis, Investment Manager at Beringea, commented: “Beringea sees tremendous potential in DASH… we believe it can go from strength to strength across the UK and into Europe.”
Other investors included David Milner, the former Lily’s Kitchen and St Pierre boss, the business’ chairman, the founders of Sipsmith and Beavertown and former Manchester United footballer Patrice Evra.
