DELLI empowers and inspires the next generation to express themselves with food. The platform enables food makers to buy and sell their products. Founded by Simon Beckerman, DELLI recently raised a $7.2m round of funding.
At the forefront of Beckerman’s priorities is sustainability. DELLI tackles the age-old food waste problem through its ‘drop’ model, where a product is limited in quantity and is only available for a limited time. This creates a buzz around small releases whilst promoting sustainability.
Beckerman commented that the raise would “further ignite growth and expand its [DELLI’s] offer to makers and consumers alike”. Unique to DELLI’s offering is how it builds its users up from home-sellers to established businesses. On the app, sellers can list their products, manage orders and develop their brand.
