Bethnal Green Ventures back Oto, the start-up that is tackling tinnitus

Wednesday 20th July, 2022

Tinnitus start-up Oto has raised a £2.8 million seed investment, with additional follow-up funding from MH client Bethnal Green Ventures.

Oto offers a science-backed support programme via a mobile app to manage what can be an incredibly debilitating condition. Having suffered from tinnitus, founders Dr Edmund Farrar and Dr George Leidig help people in the same way they wished to be helped. As there is currently no cure for tinnitus, Oto’s unique solution based on their clinical and personal experience is critical.

Bethnal Green Ventures continue to create a better future by investing in tech for good. The early-stage VC is a pioneer in the social impact movement and has invested in 166 ventures focused on positive impact.

Frances Spooner and Graham Halliday led the MH team.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the deal!
