Marriott Harrison advises Sionic Advisors on its £30m merger with Catalyst

Marriott Harrison advised Sionic Advisors, a specialist financial services consulting firm with offices in New York, Toronto and eight other cities in Europe and Asia, on its £30m merger with London-based management consultancy firm Catalyst.  The merger is a strategic move by Catalyst, backed by Livingbridge private equity, to create one of the world’s largest and fastest growing specialist consulting firms, operating with a fully internationalised platform for their global client base. Following the merger, the Group will have a combined revenue of over $60m and a staff base of more than 300 professionals based in a dozen locations across North America, Europe and Asia. The deal completed on 1 April and the Marriott Harrison team was led by corporate partner Ben Devons, with assistance from Eleanor Dennis, Harshna Patel and Kerry Corrigan.
