The Media & Technology Team frequently advises clients on agency (including the implication of the Commercial Agents Regulations), distribution and franchising arrangements.
Our team has extensive experience in reviewing existing terms and conditions and proposed contractual arrangements, identifying the legal and commercial risks and preparing clear and workable contracts.
We advise clients on all areas of data protection law and freedom of information. We have expertise in advising on the implications of the Data Protection Act and related legislation such as the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. We advise on the implications and contractual arrangements required for transferring data outside of the EU. We also advise on the requirements imposed by the Freedom of Information Act.
