MH Dispute Resolution is dedicated to achieving the best result at the least cost and as quickly as possible. The dispute resolution department has a strong reputation for excellence amongst the firm’s clients and attracts praise from the legal community.

The group is particularly active in the areas of Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). One of our partners is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, another is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, another is a Supporting Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA). One of our partners is a Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) Accredited Mediator and is recognised in Chambers 2009 as a Leader in Dispute Resolution and as a Best in UK Mediator. The group’s practise covers most commercial areas including corporate, commercial, commercial agency, employment, financial services, insolvency, insurance, information technology, media and intellectual property (including copyright, trademarks, patents, passing off), domain name and other internet issues, property, shipping transport and international trade. Its experience includes breach of contract, competition, Companies court applications, expert determination, judicial review, professional indemnity, breach of fiduciary duty, directors’ liability, shareholder disputes, regulatory work, negligence, fraud and asset tracing and all aspects of injunctions. Many disputes that we deal with have an international / offshore element, including multi jurisdictional and cross border issues, and often involve urgent and occasionally novel court and tribunal applications worldwide.

Members of the dispute resolution team come from City firms with considerable experience of wide-ranging "big ticket" commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation worldwide.
