Contracts
Employers are obliged to supply most employees with a written statement of terms and conditions of their employment. This may take the form of a contract of employment or a service agreement and may be supplemented by an employee handbook. The contract or agreement will cover matters such as salary, job title, holidays, sick pay, confidentiality and restrictive covenants.
Marriott Harrison's employment team is experienced in advising both employers and employees on all aspects of employment contracts. We have drafted many employment contracts, service agreements and employee handbooks. We have advised clients on the enforceability of restrictive covenants and how to deal with the practical issues of preventing employees from using confidential information and damaging an employer's business.
