Marriott Harrison advises on secondary buyout of Digico consoles business
Duncan Innes, partner, and Jonathan Leigh-Hunt, senior associate, advised the selling shareholders and management on the secondary buyout of Digico, the market-leading designer of digital sound-mixing consoles and desks. The buyout was backed by ISIS Equity Partners and HSBC Bank plc. The firm had previously advised Matrix Private Equity Partners on its investment in the business in 2007.
Commenting, Duncan Innes said: βIt is particularly satisfying as an adviser to have been involved from the beginning in 2007, when Matrix Private Equity made its original investment, through to this transaction. The investment has been a success because it has been driven by a highly focussed management team backed by strong investment in R&D and a commitment to quality β all qualities Matrix Private Equity likes to back. The secondary buyout is deserved reward for the commitment both the management team and Matrix Private Equity have shown to the business.β
